January 2012
Jake graduated from Rutgers University with a double major in Journalism and Political Science.

At Rutgers, Jake had the incredible honor of mentoring under Pulitzer Prize recipient Robert Montemayor as a Staff Writer for the Latino Information Network at Rutgers.

While still attending university, Jake achieved his first freelance role with the Trenton Times.
Feb 2012
After graduating, Jake began his career with Kalika FM, a leading radio station in Nepal, where he traveled across the country, as well as to India and China, covering a diverse array of stories, events, and breaking news.

He trained local reporters in journalism, built a vibrant social media following, and took on the role of "Villainous Jack" in a nationally broadcast radio drama.

April 2013
Jake joined the New Jersey Herald as a Photojournalist, contributing to one of the oldest and most respected publications in the country, founded in 1829.

He covered breaking news, in-depth features, and human interest stories, with his award-winning photography and reporting earning recognition from the Associated Press.


Some of his most influential work, centered on social justice and human rights, and is showcased in The Legacy Museum.

September 2017
Jake joined Fortress Controls, a leading provider of security and access control solutions, as a Field Technician.
His success in the field quickly earned him a promotion to Sales Manager, where he achieved 60 times the sales quota, generating $30 million in sales against a $500,000 target.

March 2020
During COVID-19, Jake adapted to the new normal by honing his ability to lead and collaborate remotely. He worked on freelance and consulting projects, leveraging his expertise to help businesses navigate the challenges of digital transformation and remote operations.

Jake joined ProtectedBy.AI as a Client Manager, where he addressed the complex needs of governments and organizations worldwide with innovative and tailored solutions.

In addition to managing high-stakes projects in the United States, Jake also took on key roles in international contracts based in South Africa.


In this role, Jake advanced ProtectedBy.AI's mission to combat fraud, waste, abuse, and corruption by delivering cutting-edge AI and cybersecurity solutions that ensured secure and efficient operations.
